TIF Startup Pitch Winners 2019

Congratulations to CLI Studios and IntelliVision Entertainment - winners of the LaunchPad startup pitch competition at OCTANe's annual Technology Innovation Forum.

Held at the Marriott Hotel & Spa in Newport Beach this week, the two day TIF conference brought together hundreds of local executives involved in our local Orange County startup ecosystem.

The highlight of the event was the LaunchPad company presentations.  As reported here recently, the LaunchPad team, including many volunteer panelists and judges, narrowed down the crowded field of applications to 8 companies.

These finalists were invited to present on stage at TIF to an audience of hundreds of local startup professionals, investors, and friends.  

Grand Prize Winner:  Congratulations to CLI Studios! 

The winning company was CLI Studios.  This young company is a provider of weekly online dance classes, featuring world-renowned choreographers, that are tailored to dancers, teachers and studio owners.

The judges panel picked CLI Studios as the winner based on a combination of factors including investability, scalability, defensibility, presentation quality, and market traction to date.  

Audience Choice Winner:  Congratulations to IntelliVision Entertainment!

Voting by the TIF audience helped choose Tommy Tallarico's Intellivision Entertainment as the People's Choice award winner.
