Be inspired to get your next startup idea by attending Cool OC’s Eco Fair

The environmental nonprofit Cool OC is hosting its annual Eco Fair.

Join them Saturday, June 14 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at the 8000 Great Park Boulevard Irvine, CA 92618 Venue at Palm Court Arts Complex near the carousel and Hanger 244.Park in Lot 2.

Residents will have the opportunity to learn about sustainable living, environmental stewardship, and climate resilience through fun, interactive booths and activities.

Last year, more than 450 highly engaged residents from over 15 cities visited 30 tables. Major exhibitors included the City of Irvine’s Sustainability Team, Waste Management, and the Orange County Power Authority. This year, they are excited to welcome new exhibitors, including Irvine Ranch Conservancy, Scouting America, Assistance League of Irvine, and Rivian.

Popular returning exhibitors include weCompost2, where attendees can touch soil and learn about worms, and Hapa Honey Farm, where attendees can discover the wonders of pollinators and purchase local honey.

The first 200 families will receive one free kids’ meal from Pacific Catch, a Surfrider ocean-friendly restaurant. The grand prizes of the opportunity drawing will be round-trip train tickets, courtesy of Amtrak, worth $400, and a four pack of whale watching tickets, courtesy of Newport Landing, worth $200. Additionally, there will be more prizes given out every hour for participants who visit each booth. Please note that only one prize per family will be awarded.
