Cern Corporation was formed to develop an effective, non-drug treatment for both fungal and bacterial vaginosis using low- 
level microbicidal light and an accompanying non-drug, photosensitizer/lubricant.
The FDA Class II regulated device is designed for use at home, as needed, when needed, based on familiar, recurrent, symptoms. Cern addresses a significant unmet need for an effective approach, not dependent on drugs/chemistries for efficacy, to aid a population seeking to avoid systemic drug-based treatments.
