The call is out for sponsors to be part of the 2025 Irvine Dream Run at the iconic Great Park Balloon this April.
Sponsors will get their name in front of up to 1,000 participants (runners and volunteers) in the 5K and the 3K as well as logo placement on the race shirt and in promotional materials, mention in press releases and exhibitor space on the site the day of the race – April 26. While the event focuses on the entrepreneurial and financial community in greater Irvine, all sponsors are welcome.
There are sponsorship tiers from the $50,000 Infinity title sponsor level to the $1,000 Bronze sponsorship, with increasing benefits including complimentary race entries.
All proceeds from the run benefit the Sunstone Community Fund, a donor-advised fund supporting a network of universities, nonprofit organizations, and public-private partnerships to advance innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Irvine area and beyond.
In its two years of existence, the Sunstone Community Fund has already donated or committed $1 million in sponsorships for entrepreneurial competitions, workshops and events to benefit small business owners both at the university level and the community at large. By sponsoring the Dream Run, your organization will showcase its leadership in the philanthropic sector and commitment to the vital nonprofit work of SCF.

American Lending Center and Sunstone Investment Group are the host companies and platinum sponsors. John Shen, founder of both companies, had the idea for the Dream Run.
“Irvine is a place where many people are pursuing their American Dream,” Shen said. “They are doing it by supporting innovation and entrepreneurship. It’s fitting that a Dream Run celebrates those principles and supports them as well.”
The inaugural Irvine Dream Run in 2024 attracted nearly 400 runners, more than 100 volunteers and media attention from the Orange County Register and other outlets, providing great exposure for sponsors. The run’s move to the Great Park Balloon in the center of the Great Park has already begun to ramp up the excitement. It also will allow for a larger post-run expo, including live music, food trucks, a bounce house, booths and more.
