Irvine: A Top 10 City of the Future

Irvine has again been recognized as a great place to live and work. 

Foreign Direct Investment magazine's 2019-2020 report ranks Irvine in it's Top 10 Small American Cities of the Future.

Irvine's high score is based on its ranking highly in 4 different categories:  economic potential, human capital and lifestyle, and connectivity.  Irvine American Cities of the Future Winner

That led to an overall rank of #5 compared to similarly-sized cities around the nation.

“Irvine has earned this continued recognition because its forward-looking master plan sustains our enviable quality of life and robust economy. It is this balance that supports our economic potential,” said Linda DiMario, Executive Vice President, Greater Irvine Chamber, who accepted the awards during the International Economic Development Council Annual Conference in Indianapolis this month.
