Irvine Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development
The Irvine Chamber of Commerce is working hard to support business growth in the Orange County area.
Many startup entrepreneurs are unaware that this local organization is busy coordinating resources to help attract, support, grow, and retain startup jobs, too.
Yesterday's meeting of the Irvine Chamber's "Business & Workforce Development Committee" (pictured) was a great example of this.
Chaired by local executive volunteers, Brian Andersen and Brian Dozer, Irvine Chamber Executive Vice President Linda DiMario opened the meeting by sharing a valuable report on the challenges and opportunities for growth of startup companies in Irvine.
Then the almost 50 local professionals in attendance joined in to discuss their Task Forces' progress on initiatives designed to help sustain and increase employment in Irvine and Orange County.
These projects include efforts ranging from business outreach to career readiness, financial literacy, and career discovery activities for students to cybersecurity, and more.
Thanks to the Irvine Chamber and its many volunteers for their commitment to bettering our community!
