Sold Out VC & Angel Investing Panel - Photos!

There was a great crowd of smart local entrepreneurs and investors at the OC VC & Angel Panel Thursday night.

Organized by FundingPost.com and hosted at the new WeWork Boardwalk location, a standing-room-only audience enjoyed networking, a panel discussion on startup investing topics, and a startup quick pitch competition, too.

The hot topics for discussion by the panel revolved around early stage technology venture investing.  They included:

  • How to meet investors, pitch them, and what it really takes to get a check
  • Hot investment sectors and trends
  • Most important factors when investors consider a new investment
  • The best and worst things an entrepreneur can do to get investor attention
  • And, of course, the best ways to reach these and other investors

It was great to see so many of our local startup organizations cross-promoting this event.  A lot of useful information was shared and new relationships initiated, too.

Thanks to Stephen Silver and Joe Rubin of FundingPost.com for organizing and hosting, and Joe Daniels for moderating the lively discussions.
