Tech Coast Angels announce SWS Venture Capital as new Affiliate Member
OC’s leading angel investment group, Tech Coast Angels (TCA), recently announced that the venture capital firm SWS Venture Capital (SWS) joined its network as an affiliate member. 
Steve Streit, the General Partner and Chairman of SWS, received capital and mentorship from TCA when he founded Green Dot, which is now a multi-billion-dollar publicly-traded NYSE company.
“This is truly a full-circle story,” said Greg Jones, President & CEO of SWS. “TCA provided support and backing to Green Dot, and now, 17 years later, we are able to partner with TCA again, albeit in a different role.”
TCA is one of the largest and most influential angel investing networks in the county, while Pasadena-based SWS focuses on investments in consumer products and technology sectors.
Through the new affiliation TCA and SWS will provide startups the opportunity to be introduced to more investors at all funding and maturity levels.

- Affiliate members are not required to be located in Southern California.
