Tech Coast Angels Summer Party

Tech Coast Angels Orange County recently hosted its annual summer party. 

Angel investor members, sponsors, spouses, and friends turned out for a festive evening in Newport Beach.

This year's theme was an "Evening in Paris".  Fine French crepes were made-to-order by the Crepe Story catering team and enjoyed by all.

Thanks to TCA veteran Bill Waldo for arranging the venue again this year.

Orange County chapter President Lisa Walker thanked all the angel investor members who have recently led investment deal teams or participated in due diligence for presenting startups.

The most active mid-year members on the TCA OC Due Diligence Leaderboard included Bob Warshawer, George Carpenter, and Ryan Lank. 

In addition to surviving the pandemic, the group celebrated TCA's continued success as the leading angel investment group in Southern California. This included setting membership and investment records for the 3rd consecutive year in 2021. 

In 2021, TCA increased investments to a record $20.4 million in 53 companies, grew membership to more than 500, accepted its 500th company, and realized 11 successful exits.
